Distance Learning is an interesting mode of education, which deliver education to the student who are unable to present physically to the place known as classroom. A person can learn and study while being far away from college because of reason like distance and time or both. As more advanced technology has been come to the market, the popularity of distance education grows exponentially. Internet makes distance learning easier and faster and because of the flexible timings, it can expand access to education for both normal people as well as people with jobs. MCA is a three year post graduate degree programme which deals in the dealing of computer applications. The course is designed to meet the growing demand of professionals in the field of information technology. It aims at producing trained professionals who can successfully meet the demands of the information technology industry. MCA programme is created for the understanding of the fundamentals of computing among the students so that they can compete in the present day global situation.

Some of the famous of them are Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Annamalai University, Osmania University, Sikkim Manipal University, Nalanda Open University, Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning, Mahatma Gandhi University, Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), ICFAI University etc. Not only professionals courses, distance education also provide diploma courses in under graduate and post graduate levels which give students many different opportunities. Distance education helps students to become respected and well known people of the society.
